Daniel OWEN lived in Hillsboro, Orange Co., NC in 1795. He appears on the Tax List for that year. He marr. Catherine TROTTER. Catherine's father Robert TROTTER was there pretty much all through the 1790's. I believe Daniel OWEN was the son of Daniel OWEN who died leaving a will in 1802 in Chatham Co., NC. In will he named sons Jack, Oliver, Hardy Daniel & dau. Elizabeth COLE. Daniel OWEN Sr. was married secondly to widow of Peter TATUM, Winnefred. Any info on these people appreciated.
