Hello,
Could you please inform me about the name ""Cornwallis Road"", a prominent road in Durham? When was this name first applied?

Lieutenant General Charles Lord Cornwallis's army was in Hillsborough during 16-26 February 1781. Did Cornwallis's army used this road named after him, and if so, what is the evidence?

Thank you,
