"I'm hoping to learn about Lyle Steele BOOKER, my great-great grandfather.
He owned the Durham Bulls from 1926 through the 1931 season. I'm curious to know about the history of the team at that time and his involvement with the organization. I'm also curious to learn about how the El Toro ballpark was established. I suspect Lyle BOOKER played a role in that, but don't have any details whatsoever.
I would deeply appreciate it if anyone could point me to historical documents or information that would shed light on this.
