"My 5th GGM "Ann Elizabeth QUACKENBUSH" baptized 5-14-1759 in Bucks PA. record Dutch Reform Church North & Southampton. Father Peter and Mother Rachel STARKEY,
Ann married Andrew CULBERTSON (CULBERSON). Andrew born 1745 Cumberland, PA, died 1802 Hillsborough Chatham, North Carolina. Ann QUACKENBUSH CULBERSON died Chatham, North Caorlina May 1816. Ann was a Quaker and is recorded in the Quaker minutes. Andrew is also record in the Quaker minutes although I am not sure he was practicing.
Question: Where would Ann QUACKENBUSH CULBERSON likely have been buried?
Where would have Andrew been buried? The person who has the Find a Grave on the web has them both listed buried in the Rocky River Baptist Church in Chatham North Carolina. I contacted him and he cannot provide any proof they are buried there, but refuses to change the Find a Grave.
I cannot understand why Quakers and/or Dutch Reform individuals would be buried in a Baptist Church Cemetery. Please help me understand.
Thank you for any advise you can give me.
Sincerely,
Sandy from San Diego, Ca.
