"I am searching for information on the marriage of my great-great-great grandparents: Uriah V/Wriah V/U V/Sam BACON and Mary QUALLS.
We believe they were married in Hillsborough, Orange County, NC, but we are unsure of the date. We show them in Orange County on the 1840 census. They had a child at this point who was less than 5. (my great-great grandfather who was born in 1839).
The census shows Uriah Bacon estimated birth date as 1812 in Massachusetts.
The census shows Mary Qualls estimated birth date as 1824 (1820 in a later one) in either North Carolina or Virginia.
I would appreciate any help on where to go to find this information.
