"I am looking for information on Elisha 2-14-1767 Guilford, NC to 11-3-1845 Randolf Co. NC and Mary Littler COX 1-2-1778 Holly Spgs NC to 6-12-1845 Randolf Co. NC. Married 12-15-1796 Cane Creek, NC. Children; Samuel 1798 to 1842, Mary-Polly 1800 to 1881, Phebe 1800 to 1895, Ruth 1802 to 1830, Elizabeth 1805 to 1865, Simon 1807 to 1848, Rachel 1809 to 1835, Rebecca 1811 to ?, Jeremiah 1813 to 1844, Zimri 1813 to ?, Joshua 1816 to 1876, and Deborah 1820 to 1834.
The question I have is did Elisha go to Washington Co. Indiana about 1830 and have another child, Olivia Matilda COX in 1830 ? We have sources that say Olivia's parents are Elisha & Mary and they were from NC. But they would have been 63 & 52 years old by then. Also sources that say they were buried in Indiana and some say buried in NC. Olivia's marriage was at 15 and an as a orphan which fits. The 1850 Census has Olivia & husband living with Stephen HARDIN also from NC.
