My name is Samantha Nifong. I live in Fort Mill, SC. I am looking for
info on a Thomas DONALDSON born 1750. He may have been born in Scotland.
My ancestor is NOT the Thomas DONALDSON who was son of Robert DONALDSON
and Hannah and died in 1777. My Thomas DONALDSON died in Abbeville SC in
1811. However, I do have a DNA match to Robert DONALDSON (husband of
Hannah) in Orange County. My Thomas DONALDSON could be a brother or
cousin to Robert. My Thomas DONALDSON married a Janet REEVES in 1778.
They had 5 children- Nancy, Elizabeth, James, William and Thomas. His
wife Janet died between 1787 and 1792. My Thomas DONALDSON supposedly
married a Polly COOK in New Hanover Co in 1793. Thomas and Polly then
moved to Abbeville SC and had 4 more children. He died in Abbeville in
1811. Any help would be appreciated. I will pay for any information you
may have on my Thomas DONALDSON 1750-1811. My phone number is
