I'm searching for someone that's talented in interpreting historic plats and land grand descriptions in Orange / Alamance Counties. I'm trying to find the location of a land grant along the Haw River in the vicinity of Stoney Creek that my GGG-grandfather John MCCRACKEN was awarded in 1780. I have a copy of the grant documents which includes the plat.
