"My ancestors came from Scotland and were some of the earliest settlers of North Carolina. James Forster (son of Samuel and Allison Forrest) B: 1700, D: 1755 Orange County had wife Ann (Ashley), sons William, James, Benjamin and Thomas, and son in law John Manning (wife Lucy). At the time of his death James Forrester owned hundreds of acres along the Eno River. My line is through his son Benjamin Franklin Forrester.
I'm looking for any family histories of the Forrest/Foraster/Forrester family in the area. Thanks!"
