"I have been a member of this Society for almost two years and during that time have gained little that has benefited my research or that of the Barnes-Oxford Research Foundation Research, Inc. which maintains a website at https://CompetitiveStrategies.us/.  Our level of research is better than most since five contributing family members hold Ph.D's and another is a State DAR Registrar.  I joined because my Barnes immigrant received a land grant on Mud Creek in present day Chatham in 1753.  He received this in 1753, having brought his spouse and 8 children to there from Chester, PA where he originally settled ion 1734.  The females were members of the Cane Creek Meeting House.  Stewart Dunaway prepared a map of his grants and they can be seen at https://competitivestrategies.us/brinsley-barnes-the-old-irish-immigrant/.  I would like any information you can provides on roads or trails from Mud Lick to Cane Creek to publish on the website.  The Society will receive full credit for any information provided.  We like you are a 501(c)3 organization."
