Governor William TROUSDALE of Tennessee was the son of James TROUSDALE and Elizabeth DOBBINS. Elizabeth was born 10 Mar 1753 in Orange County, NC to William DOBBINS, who was supposedly a member of a prominent North Carolina family. Does anyone know what DOBBINS family this would be?
